BACKGROUND

TSSI was established by a group of colleagues from a large public safety consulting firm who came to believe they could provide superior client services by focusing on client relationships at a deeper, more personal level than large enterprise consulting firms.

​The TSSI team has over 50 years of combined experience working as public servants, as consultants, and as vendors. We are public safety focused. We have a level of experience greater than the companies that have been around longer, and we have been both consultants and the resources who actually implemented these systems.

Our experience and first-hand knowledge of Public Safety technology systems is unrivaled and spans all of the applications in the Public Safety technology spectrum. Our professionals have researched and procured systems; developed stringent, well-defined,

and enforceable functional specifications;installed and trained thousands of users from hundreds of jurisdictions; provided Subject Matter Expertise for clients and in legal proceedings; and managed highly complex projects across all public safety disciplines in cities and counties of all sizes across the United States and beyond.

We help our clients procure public safety software systems that are designed to leverage next generation technologies and the fault tolerant/high availability infrastructure necessary in the rapidly changing Public Safety automated systems landscape, and ensure they are successfully implemented in their unique and complex environments. ABOUT US

TSSI is a small company because we choose to maintain the level of engagement with our clients that fosters enduring personal and professional associations. By limiting the size of our company, we are also able to control our costs and keep our rates more affordable for our clients. In addition, our staff and network of industryprofessionals allows us to bring the resources you need to the table, when you need them. This collective approach allows for lean operations and rapid response. The TSSI team conducts technical needs assessments using surveys, a review of current industry standard specifications, and on-site observation to determine current and future requirements for your agency.

We have worked the 80 hour CAD go-live week; We have set up IBR and UCR at the agency level; we have went through State validation and approval processes; we have developed the policies that new systems require; we have had to verify the completeness of data brought into a new system via conversion; we have taken agencies from paper reporting to computerized reports in the field. Because of this, we’ve seen what works. We’ve seen what doesn’t. We have overcome the hurdles and knocked down the roadblocks that never fail to appear during highly complex technology implementations.
